On Her Majesty's Secret Service: The 'narrated version' (Released)

I have just made a composite edit of one of the most bastardized 007 films ever.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service: The narrated version (226 min. mono)

“On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” was first shown on American T.V. in February 1976.
The film was shown in two 90-minute parts, and was used to help promote the '76 Winter Olympic Games. To maximize ratings, it was decided by the American Broadcasting Company to split the film up so that it could fill two 90-minuet time slots over two nights (including adverts).

In order to stretch the films running time, ABC had the bright idea to re-edit the first half of the movie with some sections from the second half. This editing along with some brand new overdubbed narration was meant to create an illusion of Bond having flashbacks. The added narration is by a voice actor that sounds NOTHING like George Lazenby.

I have used vintage sound recordings of the narrated sections, along with the Pan/Scan Laserdisc to recreate this lost Bond abomination.

And I thought the extent of ABC's OO7 hacking was cutting the more brutal fights down and losing the racier lines! The mind boggles!
