I spent quite a bit of time on the audio for terminator because although the original soundmix is better it stil sounds a bit crap and thete is a lot of music missing and it has severe problems with the bottom end.

I can share a complete audio mix of the film for anyone intetested.

It has various fixes and unused music.

I am a bit busy right now so don’t expect the file immediately but if you message I will get it over to you and you can make a choice on it or use parts of it or whatever.

There was a few things I wanted to address for which I never got around to doing.

So the audio mix is the audio mix I did.

But in terms of problems I could clearly see.

There were numerous moments when the terminator vision was not aplied when it should have been.

There was no footage for the 2nd sarah connor that was killed. Was planning on some shots from lou diamond phillips movie the 5th sign or something. Same kind of look.

Reese drives into the parking lot to avoid a police helicopter search. No budget for that… see how that would tie in with the hunter killers and the search lights. I was going for some shots out of blue thunder for that one.

All deleted scenes wrre going to be reinserted but I wanted to make a regurgitated loop with arnie asembled and going back after the credits so it would be a perpetual loop in time that would happen again and again and never stop ever.

I got the video which reference the text used in the terminator vision from some IT magazine. It’s all doable to restore the film as it’s meant to be.

Anyway PM me if you want my audio job on the theatrical mix. All music restored with the sound effects and dialogue too.

Does not sound correct.
Has only half the channel. i.e the mono was mixed irrespective of the right channel for some music. There is a lot of sound missing and the right channel was ousted for left so it’s not complete.

There were a few tracks especially the arm repar and schwarzenegger looking out across the city which were especially bad (only half the sound).
