Darth Chaltab, motti said that in defense of the Lone Star State, because your words could be understand in many ways... like "he makes silly mistakes because he's from Texas" or (stronger version) "he's stupid because he's from Texas" and not what you meant "he talks this way because people from Texas often do that".

The problem with Dubya is not the occasional misspeaking or peculiar accent. It's just that some of his sentences can be understand in completely different way as he [presumably] intended, and this is due to his flip flops. Take the recent (and already famous) quote "...and neither do we." You should know what I'm talking about
Sure, everybody does mistakes. But Dubya seems to make too much of them and some of us can't see the benefits that would offset them.

Besides, being a head of an international superpower (or any other country) requires some sort of dignity. So what that your uneducated yet hard working butcher or dustman is honest - would they fit into the President's shoes?

Dammit, we Poles once had a professor as the President before the WW2, a darned rector of a university... Talking about the style & class, heh...
