Was getting ready to watch this, and trying to figure some options out, I skipped towards the end to check a known censored line.
Unfortunately, if you listen with the uncensored track, when you get to the ‘f-- that saved the world’ line, the audio is heavily out of sync from then on. I checked and it’s true for both the color and noir versions.
Bummer.

So I don’t know what happened to the editor, but today I fixed the error in the uncensored audio track.
I didn’t do a full disc rebuild with it, but if there is interest, let me know.

I do want to ask again if anyone knows if anything else was cut besides a few god damns and one fuck. I don’t recall any nudity in the original version, but it does have an R rating.

Edit: Couldn’t let sleeping dogs lie. I got the best quality web-dl of the current print. Best video, best DD+ audio track, the best quality laserdisc to DVD of the original version, converted the audio tracks to lossless and remixed/rebuilt the original uncensored edition.
No black and white or changes, but thanks to Oswarez for inspiring me to do this. PM if interested.
