Ok so the dust is starting to settle on the virus pandemic my life has taken a turn back to some semblance of sanity…

Thankyou for changing the title to (WIP) because although the goal has been reached for the theatrical version realease we are still coming up empty on the Special edition that I personally was hoping would finally get done but the courage to actually do a new special edotion faltered and wained even though the UK has had 3 different versions of the Special edition and the TV broadcast which also differed.

Criterion although a a hugely reputable company have perhaps decided not to go the extra mile…

With things as they currently stand internationally at this time in the world I could not possibly find a better title that is an exempler for Chinease and American co-operation and also something that contains American / Brittish and Chinease interests and is a hugely entertaining one of a kind grindhouse classic.

I think although ypu can see something like Enter the Dragon as small in the grand scheme of things and still albeit their has been some movement with this release of the theatrical version we still must double take the Special edition for not being entirely adequete and a bodge, hodge podge release.

I can not think of a better time than now to find the cut footage and audio that seem like left out by accident, not intentionally.

Making a new Special Edition of Entet the Dragon can and will heal divides and truly be something special and do good in a world that has gone somewhat stange. Pulling back into a world we can all be familiar with and cast away imposition of being told we must divide from other cultures and so on.

So my thoughts and sense of purpose will turn back to this again at some point although it is hard to find the motivation this moment still It will come and it will be when we need it most.

I did a version 1 and rendered that.

V2 was a bit better structurally but the software program updated and broke the edit.

I have the soundmix seperate also which was a lot of work also.

Basically right now I don’t have the time but it’s not an impossible task as I know the edit like the back of my hand having spent so long with it.

Sorry but there is no link as it was never fully completed.

And i don’t have time because I work a lot of hours. Basically I generally tend to do a bit of editing in winter and spring when the weather is bad and I have a bit more time.

That is a big reason why I struggle to complete things because most of the time I am pretty busy as it is.

Sorry about that. Perhaps one day I will go back to this but no promises.

The two best edits are posted here anyway of Williams vs Han and the mirror maze. Most other stuff is music and sound effects. I get that a couple of clips do not make the whole experience but it’s that way for now.

Yes this was the western market international version.

Nothing it’s the international and the Chinese versions.

I ended up watching my edit V1 of enter the dragon last night. There was a good reason for the version 2 which is now lost as there were times where the audio synch was not correct.

V2 fixed this however V1 did not feature the Han vs Williams Edit whilst I also never got around to cropping out Han’s hand whilst he wipes the blood off his sleave after killing him.

The Mirror maze edit which is posted here was not in however I am feeling a bit different about it particularly the music cue before the smashing of the mirrors.

No opening Narration as I went on to intend with the invitation to the tournament was in V1.

Music edit where “the time has come to tell you something very difficult” is removed was not present in V1

And trying to restore and edit the monk scene before Lee meets Braithwaite which I gave up on but then sort of figured out a way to do it perhaps using a shot of a bird in a tree from Planet of the apes TV pilot episode… Note all the birds in cages on Hans island in the Shaolin temple of course the birds are free.

The whole reason why V2 was never finished was because I re-arranged the tournament fights and ended uo with a big audio issue involving a gong I added yet having watched it last night the original order I had was fine to be honest.

So there is a chance I’ll finish this off but no chance at the moment I’m too busy with work.
