Think it's possible that, in canon, Padme didn't die in ROTS

Finally read “ESB FACPOV” and the short story “Disturbance” made me wonder.

In this story, Sidious had visions which revealed Luke’s identity and relationship to Vader to him.

In one of these visions, which weren’t very dreamlike but mostly realistic versions of events that could really happen, Padme stands on Vader and Luke’s side, during their coup against Palpatine. And Sheev didn’t seem to be surprised seeing her alive.

So is it possible that she didn’t really die in ROTS, according to canon and might be back in Luke and Leia’s life at some point after ROTJ?

Maybe she was just in a coma or deathlike state after giving birth, imprisoned and kept away by Sheev from Vader to keep him on the dark side and of course his loyalty.

There was this theory years ago that Palpatine drained her, resulting in her death.

Perhaps it wasn’t completely wrong, beside the death part.

He could have used Sith magic to influence her, eventually resulting in a depression and then coma or a state superficially resembling death.

Which mother would lose the will to live with two children relying on her? And could something like that really cause her to die?

Think Palps planned this already for a long time.

Sidious may have kept her alive to have an ace up his sleeve, in case Vader openly tried to rebell or kill him.

It would be absolutely in line with Palpatine’s character.

Another point for this story being the first kind of reveal for Padme being still around, may be the Vader reveal in ESB.

It would be kinda fitting that a book celebrating ESB, would have the first hint for Luke’s (and Leia’s) mom still being alive…

Maybe she got cloned. Maybe her name’s Paadme.

“The Anarchists are right in everything; in the negation of the existing order and in the assertion that, without Authority there could not be worse violence than that of Authority under existing conditions. They are mistaken only in thinking that anarchy can be instituted by a violent revolution… There can be only one permanent revolution — a moral one: the regeneration of the inner man. How is this revolution to take place? Nobody knows how it will take place in humanity, but every man feels it clearly in himself. And yet in our world everybody thinks of changing humanity, and nobody thinks of changing himself.”

Thrawn probably drowned him in a toilet on his star destroyer. That’d be a fitting end to Ezra, the anchor around the neck of Rebels.

I enjoy every primary character in the show except him.

True: he’s like a watered down Luke with some fake Aladdin vibe. Disney had a hard time understanding what character to make the primary (not only with this show, also with TFA switching between Poe, then Finn, then Rey… should have been Finn all along!).
