well then if you can't really recreate the lost cut you could put in the deleted scenes that have been released, like all the biggs scenes, the treadwell, and others, make a hybrid of the official release and the lost cut based on what sources are out there. If lucas ever releases the color dailies of the deleted scenes on a future dvd release, then we can recreate the lost cut in it's entire glory, the world war II footage has been released or can be tracked down to which sources they were pulled from. even the temp track music could be traced for certain scenes.

I personally would rather just add stuff to the legendary finished edit that was shown in theaters and we all know and love. No temp track, no world war II footage, no jabba, no dave prowse voice. But the extended scenes with mark hamill and biggs, as well as ben kenobi's hut should be in there. You know an extended fan edition edit.

If the footage Is ever released for empire and jedi I would love to see extended . If not then storyboards or pics could be comped in with a subtitle for the spoken lines.
