I know that not everybody is exactly on board with the Kenobi show, but it is what it is and it’s canon.
So, what about adding some burnt blasters next to the corpses of uncle Owen and aunt Beru? Just to give them a bit more satisfying end.

I don’t think it’s necessary. Maybe we can just assume they were killed before they could get them. The Stormtroopers were obviously quite brutal to them, having burned them to skeletons in a rather short time.

Revisited operates within its own canon. Only the Revisited movies - and whatever else Adywan sees fit (Kenobi doesn’t qualify I don’t think) - are canon for Revisited.

One of the changes made to the original version of ANH:R is the Tantive IV alarm being changed to the mono mix version. I’m guessing it will now be reverted to the original Dolby version, since it’s heard at the very end of Rogue One.

Not needed. We already know what happened to them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqF_CVQ_U_I

There is one goof that was fixed for the 2020 version of ANH that was overlooked in the first version of Revisited.

Mark Hamill is standing in the small room on the right side of this shot when he’s not supposed to be there.

Are you also going to do anything about the voice clarity? Sometimes it’s very clear, like it comes from an ADR booth, sometimes the volume often changes between characters, and sometimes background ambient sound can be heard when they’re talking.

Why exactly were Vader’s lines “Your powers are weak, old man” and “You should not have come back” switched in the original ANH:R? You never gave a reason.

Yeah, he will be fixing all that.
and for the swapped lines, he has already explained that in a post right after the release of that sneak peek,
stating: “The lines were swapped around in the original ANH:R, so i kept it that way.”

Why were they swapped in the first place?

The DVD-9 source if Im not mistaking.

Yeh, it was the PAL DVD-9

I’m famous on here for being able to spot differences in screenshots. I’ve made it my actual hobby. I don’t know what you’re getting at by posting a link to two identical screenshots of the Fox logo save for some compression.

In comparison to the original “STAR_WARS_REVISITED_PAL_DVD_9,” “ANH_REVISITED_SD_x264” is desaturated in several portions such as the LFL logo, the long time ago text, the SW logo, the Tantive IV engines, and Yavin Prime.

Thats a bit too specific and nitpicky at this point.

To be honest, I was thinking that, shortly after posting my previous comment.

Keep up the good work Ady and team I hope you are all doing well.

I got one for you!

It’s not a big deal, but none the less it is a continuity error.

When gold leader is making his attack run he is looking down the targeting computer… we then cut to a cockpit pov shot and the targeting computer is not visible.

I actually tried to add a targeting computer to the shot and it is very difficult to achieve realisitically.

May I suggest this POV cockpit shot is handed to Luke as he has no targeting computer and is swapped for a travelling trench shot?

Further more look at the cropping on the targeting computer on 4:3 releases of the film. Why would you have buttons on something you were looking down to target something? Ergonomically that would mean sticking your fingers in front of your eyes to push buttons whilst trying to target 😃

So if you look at the 4:3 cropping this is not an issue we don’t seee any buttons only the main display.

I think cropping the targeting display to remove all the buttons is something you would not be perhaps like to do. In my opinion the 4:3 vetsion is superior in it’s framing. I will leave it with you.

Also taking of the falcon targeting computer… Notice that thing that swings about below? I think that was to designate which way the background was meant to move. There is no background really that should be the window and star field. Just a note stars moving vertically up or down seem to work better than than going left to right or right to left.

Whilst I am also posting there is an audio issue of missing sound effects. When Luke makes his second attack on the death star surface the “trust your feelings” one. The x-wing laser sound effect is missing which is what makes it wrong. Then when we cut to the gunner falling off there is not a sufficient explosion sound to accompany the action. Then it seems the next shot of the xwing the green laser fire is also not properly integrated with sound also.

One last one… Music issue.
When wedge saves Luke from the tie fighter the music here is cut short meaning the last bass note accompanying the Y-wings diving is off. If you track the music in you will see what I mean the last note does not and never has sat right. If the score is restored the last note sit’s much better with the action and it works how it was meant to work and does not feel out of place like it currently does.

Take care

I know there’s better takes of the jango fett actor doing some of the boba fett lines from empire in the battlefront 2 game but what about lines like what if he doesn’t survive he’s worth a lot too me?

I feel I had reasonable success with partially replacing the 2004 Boba dialogue in ESB with video game clips.

“As you wish” sounds great, as I just time-stretched a good delivery from Bounty Hunter which itself seems to be styled after the original line delivery from Wintergreen.

“He’s no good to me dead,” is now, “He’s [not worth anything] to me dead.” It’s not 100% the same line, but I feel it has a little more grit to it.

“What if he doesn’t survive? He’s worth a lot to me,” is now, “What if he doesn’t survive? He’s [worth a fortune to me].” Again, an approximation of the original line but makes for a grittier delivery.

“Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold,” didn’t really have an obvious replacement, so it’s untouched beyond the same mild reprocessing the other 2004 bits have to fit in with the Bounty Hunter clips.

I found Battlefront clips had an added helmet effect too different from the 2004 ESB lines to be easily used.

My stance on revising fan edits.
