I live in Canada, where he’s visiting right now, and because I’m preparing to be a priest, I was asked to be an altar server at the papal Mass in my city. Before the Mass, he came and shook hands with all those serving at the Mass, which I wasn’t expecting at all! I originally didn’t think I’d even be that close to him.
