screenshots from the 720p hd cap

looks like this was the source for the blu-ray. the blu-ray shows more picture information. but i don't know if disney made any changes from that version to the bd.

do we have the ld pcm available? i'd love to sync it to the bd video and get rid of that stupid 7.1 mix or at least make it a secondary track ;)

by the way, have you seen the new restoration that is being done in  "Gulliver's Travels" (1939) by a very small studio (with a forthcoming Bluray release)?

The result is OUTSTANDING!

I wish Disney would make restorations like these!

No change in aspect ratios, no grain removal, no change of colors!

These are people that respect the fans and the animation films from what it seems.

Really? That right there is just demanding a Myspleen share. Can anybody buy this and up it on Myspleen?

Currently enjoying Disney Infinity 3.0

Thank you zeropc, but that seems like a rip of the DVD, with the wrong colors again unfortunately.

edit: well, actually it's an HDTV rip (see the abc logo)

Avatar_Emil, this hasn't been released yet, but when it does it deserves a purchase!

I fully support people that do their job right!

(By the way,did you see the latest Little Mermaid fiasco? The most major error is a switch of 2 cuts in Part of that world. Hehehe. It seems Disney can't do anything right lately, so the safest thing for me is to stop buying their Blurays)

I feel like a hypocrite, but I have to agree with the post above. This particular project should be supported by purchase, not by torrenting.

My thought exactly. Why support big scandalous corporation when smaller players do better on what you really want ?

yes!

it's really funny how a very small studio which doesn't have the economical means of the monster-companies, can do a job right!!

I wish that same team that made the Gulliver's Travels' restoration, had done the Beauty and the Beast one (and all the Disney Blurays).

I would be thrilled!

There's a couple people around here who have that capability, though it would take a lot of time and money, but I think it could be done by one of them in theory...

I can't see it. Ebay is blocking the access to me...

It's an old auction from last summer.

I contacted the seller in case he remembers the buyer!

i wish I could find him and pay him on having the film digitally transfered.

Does anyone know how much it would cost? I found some  shops here in Greece that do this, but i haven't asked what's the cost.

I asked the guy at ebay and he says he still has the film!!

imagine that film converted to a digital file, with the original colors, grain (i assume) and all, looking like a FILM! (and not like a cheap-direct-to-DVD animation film)

Has anyone mangled a fair copy from VHS?
Kinda wish we had kept all of our old VHS tapes after seeing the newer Blue ray versions.

While I don’t have the LD itself, Molly uploaded a rip to TPB, it has 4 dvd’s with the making of documentary on the fourth, and I retained it to be uploaded.

If you’d like, I can send it over.

Would it be possible for you to send this to me?
