Serenity may be a good movie (haven't seen it yet), but I think movie fans are bitter over the fact that there haven't been any good movies in the past few year with a handful of exceptions. Hollywood has been churning out crap constantly and people would rather spend the money on a rental or just buy the DVD since its cheaper in the long run anyway.

My 2 cents though and somewhat offtopic.

Back on topic. I think DVD sales of this will do well and at least give it hope for another movie. Perhaps a straight to DVD, if Joss is willing to do it.
