The official release date according to amazon.com and davis dvd is nov. 8th 2005.

Space Above and beyond is currently available as a best buy only exclusive from september 5th through nov. 7th 2005.

In other sci fi release news, seaquest dsv complete first season comes out on dec. 26, 2005.

Battestar Galactica (new version) season 2 part 1 comes out on dec. 20th, 2005.

clone wars Volume 2 on dec. 6th, 2005

and in case anybody forgot

Revenge of the SIth On nov. 2, 2005.

ROTS IS NOV. 1st.

SPACE ABOVE AND BEYOND IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE T.V. SHOWS. IT WAS VERY CHARACTER DRIVEN MUCH LIKE THE REIMAGINED BSG.

Yeah, Space: Above and beyond rocked. So sad it only got one series. I'm definitely getting this when it hits UK shores. In other news, my younger brother who works in Blockbuster stole a Star Wars Episode 3 DVD release T-shirt for me. It's got the Star Wars logo on the front and a picture of the Obi-Wan/Anakin duel on the back with the release date.

P.S Another DVD I am so happy to see finally getting a release - Escape From New York.

There have been 2 releases of Escape From New York in North America so far. One was in 2000 and was a bare bones "flipper" [one side widescreen, one side p/s]. The other was ~2002 and was a Special Edition.

revenge of the sith original release date was nov. 2, but they moved it up to the 1st of nov. I saw the commerical. what the hell is the difference of a day?

I love that show, but here in the Uk we still haven't seen the second season.

Does anyone know how to convert a Region 1 disc into Region 2?

they will not show the second half of battlestar galactica season 2 until december or january of next year, and the box set of the second round of episodes will probalbly come out 2-6 months after. People have been talking about whether or not somewhere in the future they will have a box set of all of season 2, not just half of the episodes, lame.
