Yeah, but it still gets that point across retroactively. I could put in the line, “Not even the younglings survived,” to introduce the term without security footage of Anakin personally slaughtering them taking over Obi-Wan and Padme’s motivations. We do see in LOE some very young bodies strewn about so there’s still the idea that Jedi of all ages were killed. The main thing I wanted to do for LOE is avoid having killing tiny kids be the first thing a semi-reluctant Vader goes to do. It still happens implicitly, but Anakin himself isn’t known to be directly involved because it overshadows his overall betrayal of the Jedi.
But yeah, not altogether called for, but I haven’t decided for certain. Also will depend on which Kenobi fan edit I end up adopting as my go-to out of the crop!
EDIT: I looked again at the relevant conversation in Ep5, and Kenobi does express his knowledge of Anakin killing the younglings.
