In terms of paring things down to their minimum to let the better moments shine: there’s an old axiom in screenwriting that says you should introduce characters already as far into their own story as possible (while still remaining immediately comprehensible). With that in mind, what’s the best introduction for each of the main characters that cuts the most of their initial screentime?
I’m specifically thinking about:
- Reva and the other Inquisitors
- Leia, Bail (as much as it pains me to cut Jimmy Smits content), everything with Alderaan generally
- All of the different Rebel spy people
