Thank you! I’ve found it on PB, even though now it’s still stuck at metadata downloading.

My client shows I’ve uploaded over 17.89gb so far, so we should have at least one other person with the full file to be helping seed. Give it time.

I finished Downloading V2 early hours this morning on my Seedbox, I have set it to seed continuously to help everyone get it👍

Thank you Darkzip for doing this, very greatfull and very much appreciated.

I don’t think he said what programs he used to create that effect.

You replying to me?

Yes, sorry.

Oh I wasn’t mad just was trying to make sure you were talk to me. maybe someone could ask him what software he use so either adywan or someone else could update the lightsabers even more.

If I remember correctly Adywan did consider doing it and did some testing but it was too much work for something that ultimatly looked worse than no glow.

Really I’m surprised because a fan did the glow for the prequels lightsabers on YouTube and it looked great.

The ambient glow only works when the subject is fully lit, like in that video. Try doing it during the carbon chamber duel and it is impossible unless you recreate each character using CG & 100% match their moves because there is no visual information on Vader (especially his helmet) for the most part & other areas of each character. I did many test and decided it’s just not worth all the work, especially when so many shots would be impossible to convincingly add any ambient glow.

And there will be no HDR/ Dolby Vision colour grade. I see people ask this a lot, along with asking for a Dolby Atmos sound mix. I’m just a guy working on a home PC and not in a fully equipped professional studio. I just don;t have the facilities to be able to do things like this.

Will they have DTS-HD Master Audio sound mixes instead?

I understand the limitations you’re trying to work around with, but is the video and audio going to at least encoded to have lossless compression?

Too bad about the limitations I understand wish it was possible for it to be done. also no worries on it not having a hdr grade it would be nice but if you don’t have a way to it you don’t have a way to do it. Then the only questions I have is is it possible to increase the gb to 50gb that way it isn’t suffering from compression issues or is that not possible. Would a deepfake of the return of the Jedi version of palpatine work in empire strikes back revisited if anyone attempted to do it or is that not technically possible for anyone. also is there a way to deepfake the empire strikes back vader voice for the movies and shows where James Earl Jones sounds off like rogue one. Oh I almost forgot my last question is it possible for you to update the cgi shots that actually were good in the original trilogy with something like unreal engine 5 like cloud city the return of the Jedi celebration etc.

I know the answers to some of what you’ve asked. As far as ROTJ Emperor in ESB:R Adywan has already achieved that through other means which are probably more affective than a Deepfake as deepfakes are often is difficult/time consuming to make temporaly stable. Edits outside the original Trilogy are beyond the scope of what Adywan has planned or is planing to do (as far as I know he doesn’t want to be 90 and still working on these edits) But voice deepfakes are even more challenging than video ones as inflection and tone and such is currently impossible for AI to interprate so what ever you get out of it will be either dead pan or inconsitant. Lastly as has been said quite often in the past (though i understand there are many, many pages to look through) Adywan is making some tweaks to shots digitally but from what I can tell most of them are through compisting techniques not full CG in rendering engines. And he is not keeping the celebration changes from the SE for a number of reasons that (I believe) some of which are laid out in his first post.

Hope that helps.

Does anyone have the 13-minute preview of ANH:R HD? I didn’t get a chance to see it.

There’s one tiny thing I noticed in ANH:R. During the “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for” scene, the voice of the Stormtrooper is delayed by a second. Why is that?

There is no delay in the stormtooper voice in ANH:R. I think you are mistaking it with the “Ronto removal” clip i posted a few years back showing the HD version. All the sample clips i post of the HD version use a temp audio track, usually the 80’s stereo mix, which had a delay in the voice for some reason.

Oh. That makes sense. I’m still very curious to know what the audio codec will be for the Revisited Blu-Rays?

Now the audio side of things for the 1080p releases . I’m not sure if rendering a 6.1 or 7.1 track is even worth it TBH. The 6.1 audio track on the 2011 blu-rays for the OT are a bit of a con. The extra track contains silence for about 99% of the film. There are very quick sound effects in about 6 places throughout Empire . And the 2020 7.1 just duplicate this track to give the extra track. So anyone that complains if i just do 5.1 audio is really complaining for no reason. But the main reason why it may just be 5.1 is because i do not have any software that can encode DTS-MA let alone encode a 6.1 or 7.1 audio track. The DTS software suite is ridiculous price and now only seems to be available for Mac. If i were able to create a 6.1 DTS track then i would need to remake the extra channel(s) from scratch and i only have a 5.1 setup so i couldn’t really test out the extra channels anyway.

I have no idea yet. The blu-ray is likely to be 25gb. Partly because only a handful would want to download a 50gb file, (hell, i get complaints that an 8gb file takes too long for people to download) but also online storage to enable people to freely download is a major issue. I want to keep the video as high quality as possible. I ahve the ability now to encode a DTS-MA audio file, but the size is just under 5gb. That really eats into available space to fit on a BD-25.

Thank you for providing a lossless audio mix to your fan-edits.

Perhaps you could make lossless tracks a separate download for those who want to mux their own MKV of the films. That’s how the audio people do it over on the 4K77/80/83 forums.

Or provide a wave file of a M & E (Music and Effects) audio track, so that members can prepare foreign language audio-mixes to your edits.

It could at least be a lossless compressed format (FLAC) to save on online storage size

But this is impossible, as it would first require that Ady has an M&E track of the movie which…no one does outside Lucasfilm?

Since the lengths of Ady’s SW fan-edits are different from the final-theatrical lengths of the films, custom audio-mixes would have been created to conform with the lengths of Ady edits. There are audio-files of the unique sound-effects from the SW franchise that have been collected and stored by the fans and other fans have used these audio files to make custom edits of their favorite SW films. This was the case for these Ady SW fan-edits.

So preparing a Music and Effects audio file–with the English dialogue removed–from these custom audio mixes is possible. It’s just a matter of Ady wanting to do one and share them.
