wow, it must look like im trying to go against everything jimbo says, im really not

actually i think that yeah, there probably should have been more aliens in the rebellion but they dont need to be cgi, and the movie works with out that so why go back and add them in, because the just end up looking out of place.

second, the PT takes you onto only a handful of planets, and it doesnt always make sense for there to be a wide variety of species on each of these planets. But where it does make sense, coruscant and tatooine are the main ones that come to mind, there were lots of various aliens in the background. But ive never said anything against using cgi characters as background characters that no one interacts with, its just when you start slowly replacing all the main characters with CGI just because you like CGi that it becomes a problem, and has the potential to take away from the movie where as special effects are supposed to add to the movie experience not take away from the actual story and characters
