I’m still using oohteedees but I’ve definitely stalled. It’s hard to go back to Premiere when you know how much better resolve is.

This SW project is cancelled. Details of why provided up on the main post. I am still active editing other projects and just released a Shazam edit that uses new Superman VFX at the end.

Hopefully my edit, Son of Krypton will also be approved by FE soon. Here’s a link to that:

unfortunate, but if you feel that this isn’t giving you anything than it’s the right decision for you.

Yeah. I love Star Wars. But the OT is just never going to be modern. No matter how many multiverses George Lucas is cutting away at it in his basements.

is it still possible to get the latest edit? I’d love to do a marathon soon and suprise my friends with the reimagined cut!

No, no, I think there’s an argument to be made for bringing the Originals in line with modern aesthetic standard of the other two trilogies for consistency. Nobody on this forum is gonna advocate erasing the original cuts, so where’s the harm in it?

I fall on this side too. I think there’ll always be a place for both- the originals as untouched as possible, out of respect for the immense effort that went into their release; and that which brings the aesthetic to par with more modern movies.
