Lei Fei was the only character I could actually pull combo after combo on instead of just button mashing.

I've never been a fan of long combo strings. I typically try to master judicious use of short, doable combos rather than the stupidly long ones in most fighting games.

Has the easiest combos ever:

Hwoarang from Tekken. Seriiously. Just continuously mash the kick buttons and something Jackie Chan couldn't do will happen.

I've been considering getting GGI, but I've never seen it in a store.

I haven't played any of the previous games in the series, but it looks interesting in that it might show what Capcom coudl make street fighter into if it could just let go of the past.

I thought about getting Guilty Gear X2: Reloaded for the X-Box, but I might go for the cheaper PS2 version that is essentially the same game.

Wow I'm fresh from a hour thity minute session of Halo 2 Multiplayer.

Man it sucks playing with the broken controller. Somethings has made the right trigger activate all four face buttons... So I have to play in Southpaw control scheme and I can't use grenades, dual wield, machine guns with the tank--and I cant accelerate with any vehicle.

The campaign seems weaker than the first game for sure.

I'll let you know my final thoughts once I finish it. Truth is that I hadn't played Halo 2 since Thanksgiving until last night, and then only multiplayer. I've been busy with Rachet and Clank III and Prince of Persia SoT.

Oh c'mon! At least the campaign in Halo2 had a story beyond "Blow Halo"! Halo2 is far superior to Halo, in just about everyway...except 2. The first, they got rid of individual health bars. The second, they downgraded the pistol and failed to give the battle rifle an auto setting as opposed to the burst feature.

But beyond those two things...Halo2 is far better than Halo.
Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

I dunno. The fact that I could pass entire levels simply by running and jumping over bitches without even firing a shot left me kind of underwhelmed. But to each his own.

Halo 2 seems like a game that will grow on me as time goes on. Hell, I'll probably be singing its praises in a few months.

Uh.. Just because you can, why?

It seems to me that that sort of defeats the purpose of having guns.

Why? Because I didn't care what was going on otherwise. Believe me, if I would have somehow felt compelled to complete each level the proper way, I would have done it. Sadly, this did not occur. Not to mention half the levels were too dark to see what I was doing anyway.

Meh. That's what the flashlight is for.

But still, I understand that this game isn't as compelling. Like I said before, I haven't played single player since Thanksgiving.

I tried to play again today.

There is just something that prevents me from enjoying it like I'm supposed to be able to. So many of the scenarios are so counter intuitive--rather than what's obvious, there is a swithc in some distant corner that you didn't see or something that opens a door or lowers a piston. I hate to say it, but the first levels were far superior to any of the levels on the new ring...

I agree 100%. In fact, for me, the earth levels are some of the best levels in all of gaming. But soon after that the game just spins out of control.
