“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. Why not? The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car why not do it with some style...besides, the stainless steel construction makes the flux dispersal more resistant to the after effects of the temporal displacement.

Which is the more foolish, the fool (the OT) or the fool who follows (the PT)?

Yeah. Well technically I'm more here as a Starwars fan than really wanting the OT on DVD. I signed the petition mostly out of curiosity. I'd like to see if the OV is really better or if nostalgia is merely getting in the way of peoples judgement.

But then Greedo shouldn't have shot first. Unless he was aiming at himself.

Nah. He'd still miss.

Perhaps Greedo just slipped his finger over the trigger. He didn't want to kill Solo. Unfortunally GL cut a scene that was supposed to go between Greedo's shot and Solo's shot:

"Woops sorry slipped my finger, happens all the time. Let me put this gun away. What was I saying? Oh yes... I've waited so long for this moment... Solo... I... I can't hide it anymore. I'm secretly in love with you. Here, I'll pay all your debts with Jabba... Let's run away together! I know a little place in Naboo where we won't be found... And we can make love together from the sunrise to the sunset... Please..."

Solo shoots Greedo.

Yes, Greedo is a male. Didn't you see the point I was making? Didn't you get why Solo "homophobicly" shot him?

I hate mail-in rebates that require you to make a million copies of a receipt that is 12 miles long and another million copies of the upc that is printed onto the box for 5 dollars here and 3 dollars there to a million different companies (of course the store advertises one lump sum of a rebate)

Note: there is no exaggeration in this post

Along this same line, I hate when rebates require you to cut out the UPC code from a package and they are part of the physical packaging. Coconut's has had some great mail-in rebates on CDs lately that bring the price down to something like US$7, but I have to butcher the packaging by cutting the UPC code off it. I hate that.
