If you like Atari 2600 that is, there isn't all that much that interests me for the Atari 2600 that I haven't already gotten in non-emulator form(exe programs for example).

I don't use emulators for the same reason I don't use BitTorrents: to much hassle, plus it's illiegal to aquire the games that way unless you own a cart.

Hassle? Give me a break, its one of the easiest things to do:
1. download the emulator
2. Download a ROM
3. Fire up the Emulator
4. Load up a rom
5. Play the game.

Playing the game is the hardest part

But it's still illiegal. Plus my computer doesn't have sound. That's reason III.

You're telling me that you don't download songs from the internet? Thats "illegal" too you know.

And do you really think that nintendo really cares about ROMs that have been out of print for over ten years and for consoles they don't even offer for sell or support for?

No I don't DL music*, and no, I don't guess they'd care about ROMS they no longer sell. Eitherway, I allready have/ have played every old game I can think of wanting with the exception of Earthbound, so it doesn't really bother me.




*Tell me why I would be inclined to DL music that I CAN'T LISTEN TO, considering that, as I told you several times today alone, that my sound card is fried.

Yeah, I used to, but I sort of got out of the habit. I don't listen to music that much unless I'm in an automobile.

Straight from a disc?

I used this decoder I found on a link on a faq for GTA: Vice City at gamefaqs.

There is a whole guide on how to do it in that faq, if they haven't removed it yet.

Anybody here check out Starfox Assualt?

I rented it, and all I can say is I HATE NAMCO.

Why did they have to follow up the excellent Arwing scenario in mission one for a much less entertaining ground segment for mission 2? The on-foot controls work well enough, but the controls for the LandMaster, (which is no longer even a tank: it has wheeles instead of treads) really suck.

Typos are a no no







Wow. RE4 is great stuff! I swear I screamed like ten times when I just played for an hour. There's no way you'll jump that much in several hours of the old RE games.
