Ok, Ummm, Where Did You Get Those, Are They From My Links And Are They Actually In 4K?, Like, Ligit, SUPER Crisp, Even If A Bit Grainy, A Tad Bit Blurry, And Also Having Some Slight Marks All Over It, Also The Colour Grading Is A Bit On The Cool Side, But Still, The Best We Have Yet!

I’ll try to answer the flow of questions as good as possible:
I took them myself from a video.
The source is not from your links.
The caps are 1:1 from that video, they are not blown up afterwards.
The marks are scratches, and nothing digitally added.

EDIT:
There was someone who got a 16mm print of Knick Knack.
AFAIK it is not scanned, yet.

Back in that time, I just had a 35mm print of the altered re-release.

That had changed since then… I got a true 35mm print of the old version.

Anyone Who Has A Print Of The Original Version Of Knick Knack (No Matter The Size) Is Just A Lucky Bastard Generally,

Also I Knew The Marks Were From The Film, Not Digitally Added

Anyways Lad, There’s Not Much Going On Here Anymore, The Only REAL Thing Any Of Us Can Do Now Is For You To Fully Convert Your 35mm Print To A Digital Video And Post It Online, Which You Could Just Simply Link Here, Other Than That, I’ll Be Deleting My Account Shortly, But Don’t Worry, If My Replies Don’t Get Achieved, I’ll Just Archive Them On The Wayback Machine, Anyways, Bye! 👋

Cya,
well I am not very adept in such processing, but I am sure at some point in the future there will be a preservation arise. It’s not just that easy to encode the raw stream.
The aspect ratio on the raw image is off, as it is scanned with cell frame and audio stream.
Before there can be any real download there has work to be done on this. For my screen caps I did not respect original theatrical AR, or matting.
Also I have no clue how the colors where when projected, the scan (and print) seems quite unsaturated, while frames from the re-release print with the altered image, seems lot more saturated… But colors also might have been revised for the re-release…

At least: The Boobs are safe, and won’t get lost that easy again.

I am still in process of trying to find a better aspect ratio, the video is in 1.66:1, while it was 1.85:1 in Theatres. But I don’t want to matte it too much, as the raw file has not the theatrical AR.

Also, I’ll need to process some color grading, as the raw file has not as strong colors, as any shots I saw. Maybe because the print aged…

Also, I am tinkering with encoder settings and such.

So, there is no download for this at the moment.

Right Lads, Umm, My Account Hasn’t Been Deleted Which At This Point I’m Thankful For, And It Kind Of Looks Like This Forum Has Died Since I Was Last Here, Anyways, Have This 60FPS Enhancement Of The Original Knick Knack I Made And I Hope This Community Gets Back Up And Running Again!:

Unfortunately Either I Won’t Have Enough Time, Patience Or My PC Would Probably Explode, However I’d Say That It’s Good Enough For Now, If You Disagree Though, You’ll Probably Prefer The 30FPS Version I Made Back In February

Another Thing To Keep In Mind Is That As Revealed By MrBrown In An Earlier Post, He Has A 35mm Print Of The Original Knick Knack That He Might Be Working On Digitising (BTW MrBrown, Just Saying Mate But I’m 100% Sure That The Short Was Originally Made In That 1:66:1 Aspect Ratio And Only Rerendered To 1:85:1 For The Rerelease With Finding Nemo, Apparently 1:66:1 Was A Fairly Common Aspect Ratio Used Mainly By Pixar And European Filmmakers As Discussed On This Old Forum Page: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/whats-is-1-66-1-aspect-ratio.465247/#:~:text=1.66%3A1 means the horizontal,It can be anamorphic.)

Edit: I Have No Idea Why This Post Was Posted Twice But Just Ignore That

Shagtastic! Last thing I want to ask is that I see that the upload you’ve provided is on The Wayback Machine, do you want me to re-upload it to YouTube and I’ll credit you, or do you want me to just leave it there?

Oh sorry mate, I honestly thought you were someone else that was trying to digitise there copy of the film, although there’s is apparently 35mm, so I guess you won’t have any problems of your video being re-uploaded to YouTube (I’ll still credit you though)

Also I did find 2 uploads of it already, one from 3 years ago and another from 4 months ago, but there both in 480p.

Anyways, I’m mostly like off, cheers for everything! 👋

God I wish I could delete shit on here because whatever source you provided is actually only in 480p, not 2K, I WAS JIPPED BY NOT DOUBLE CHECKING, I WAS TOO EXCITED THAT WE FINALLY HAD SOMETHING GOOD AGAIN IN OUR HANDS, HOW FUCKING RETARDED AM I MAN!?

Anyways sorry mate, I’m probably going to have to unscale other sources with different programs instead or wait for that one guy to digitise his 35mm print, unfortunately I don’t see him either posting for a long ass time or maybe never again, his last interaction on this page was 7 months anyways
