The Star Wars Prequel Trilogy is a political satire about current and very real threats to Democracy which exist in our world. The Original Trilogy deals with empires, weapons of mass destruction, super-villains, and the power of ordinary people. George’s films have always been a guide for me in terms of how I see the world. I’ve always taken the lessons that I’ve learned from the films and applied them to my personal life. A belief in something larger than oneself, the dangers of fear, and the hope that a brighter future exists for all are just a few things which I know many others on this site have been profoundly impacted by.
