I'm using "Smacker Player" for Mac OSX to play the .smk videos, and "SnapzPro" for the capture (there's no smk converter on Mac), and the quality seems pretty good for now

I already have these cutscenes on dvd, taken straight from the game disc, including the 'dark side' ending. I could send you a copy in exchange for you're finished disc when you're done

Could you put here a screenshot of your videos? I'll see what it looks like, compare to my "convertion".
