I think I found a better and more natural solution than the original dialogue idea.
As far as that FakeYou site. It can produce decent results, but i find the GitHub release much better and more powerful. Sometimes the voices can be rendered almost robotic through the site, requiring a lot of post-render work in Audacity and Vegas.
However, audio trickery - and especially dialogue - is always difficult. It took me nearly two hours just to produce this snippet - and I don’t know if it will work, but here it is:
The “You are not his padawan anymore” bit sounds funny with headphones (cheap ones), a bit too robotic and with a diferent ‘tone’. With the laptop speakers is barely noticeable. I think I can tell doe to the prior headphones listening and wouldn’t have noticed otherwise
Hmm, I can not reproduce this issue with two different headsets on my own end. I suppose I can’t prevent the line from being 100 percent on all audio devices, but what I can do is try and even out the volume levels and perhaps even clean them up once more. I will see what I can do.
