I always liked the character of Boba Fett. The take no crap attitude he had towards Vader in Empire made him as cool as his cool, cool outfit.

In the o-OT version of ROTJ in 1983 the Jeremy Bulloch/Jason Wingreen Boba Fett definitely escaped the Sarlacc pit.

But the new Kiwi Boba Fett dies a horrible punkass death and is slowly devoured over the next 1000 years.
