Has anyone considered using the “Shot That Launched A Thousand Modern Day Star Wars Discourses”? Which I of course mean is this: https://static0.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Kylo-ren-trailer.jpg
I feel like the only two places in the trilogy you could use this shot would either be:
- During Rey’s Lightsaber Mind Trip in TFA
or
- Used during one of the multiple Force Skype sessions/visions between Kylo and Rey in TROS. It could also fit really nicely in fan edits for this movie with the KYlo vs. Darth Vader scene a lot of people have added into the film.
Little late, but I actually tried working this into my edit, during the Starkiller Base duel, along with a cut shot I got from the behind the scene featurette where Kylo yells “STOP!” when confronting Rey and Finn.
There’s a lot of small little edits I’m playing about with too, so let me know what you think if anyone watches this.

I’m a complete amateur at editing and this is nowhere the level that others post in this thread, but I’ve been lurking for a while and been feeling inspired to try some of my own ideas out, ignore the lack of proper audio in some parts
(I’m trying to remove/change the score in this scene so I had to recreate the foley of the scene myself to achieve that, and making the lightsaber duel sound the way it should is a lot harder than it seems, think of this of a rough draft :v)
