Thanks for the heads up. Even though i havent really collected since the first wave of episode II, I kinda wanted to get the first wave of ROTS figures but didnt want to spend the $6 (i think thats what they were, or was it more) per figure. Might have to swing by walmart this week.
Why Anakin really turned to the dark side:
"Anakin, You're father I am" - Yoda
"No. No. That's not true! That's impossible!" - Anakin

Dammit! I bought three last week at $5.88 each.

On a semi-related note, I finally made it to Toys R Us and got the 500th Vader figure. It's pretty darn nice.

Wal-Mart had a boatload of those 500th Vaders. Yep, they are pretty nice.

Nah, I used my money at Meijer and bought Storm Shadow from the G.I. Joe Sigma Six collection. He's badass. Easily the best toy I've bought in years.

Me either, but $14 was just barely tolerable. The only two things I'd change about the figure, and they're minor, are the helmet and the shoulders. Since the helmet has to come off easily in the meditation chamber, it isn't secured to the head and goes tumbling across the desk/floor if an attempted pose fails and the figure tips over. I stole a small adhesive dot from my wife's scrapbooking supplies and fixed that. I'd like it if the arms could raise or lower to the side, but the shoulder armor interferes with that. As it is, he can hold the saber vertically in both hands in a ready position near the right shoulder, sit on his knees with his hands atop his head (you're under arrest, Lord Vader!) or simultaneously scratch both his stomach and his butt.
