I think this is the best edit I’ve seen. I only wish there was that deleted scene of Han as a TIE fighter pilot added back. I know it’s cheese, but I love it. Tried doing it myself, but it seems I lack the skills xddd

Just have to say. This is exactly how they should have released this movie. You did awesome work. I hated this movie. You made this garbage movie into a hit. Just with the subtle changes you did. Took all the Ideology and made it fun and adventurous like all movies should be. Thanks. Sad only fans can do this.

Finished this one and figured I would give feedback. Overall this is the best cut of solo so far and will be my guide in making a 3D version that matches.

Here are my comments
-New Starwars style intro and drop to planet – Love this and is absolutely perfect and feels like original starwars!
-Removal of big onscreen solo logo-same and lets you see the city from a high shot more and appreciate that establishing shot
-Color: Solo was so darker (even darker in 3D) that there is so much detail gone. So much here I forgot or never saw. This is a good color and brightness correction; however I am taking my version further to bring out more detail, mostly becaues I plan to finish this out in 3D using reprocessed or mixed with original 3D but color matched to this one. 2D though this could stay as is
-Editing: all the right spots are trimmed and not in a major way you notice, just where needed, like the traditional disolves too. Again excellant.
-Deleted scenes: like the additons, I actually plan on adding two more that I like that were not included - TIE fighter pilot scene (with restored FX) and extended scene of all first walking into Dryden’s office (both from blu-ray source)
-Han’s subtitles removed when he’s talking to Chewbacca. I actual dont see these when I watch in 3D but I guess they are a setting I never turned on. Not missed-if chewy doesn’t have subs than makes sense han does not either, so this was a good choce.
-removed droid cage fight…yep not needed
-removed some of droid sexualization stuff …agree

Again great work DigMod! and thank you for your efforts on this one.

…If and when I get a chance to get back on this and get an updated 3D entry of the film, will post details

This post was from October 2019, so if you downloaded the file after that point and it has the updates listed below it’s v2…or whatever 😛

There is only one me that doesn’t know the languages of those 7 billion people who don’t have English as their native language and would appreciate any help in producing what you are looking for (I’m not sure if that is English subtitles or language specific subtitles?). If you have the means to do so, 7 billion people, plus one, would be grateful 😉

Hey DigMod, I see another member in this thread, Yuri_Kenobi, has made subtitles, and I PMd him but he hasn’t been active since 2021. I tried contacting you through the contact form, but it seems the email is an auto-reply email. Do you happen to have a subtitle file for The Coaxium Heist? This is the only Star Wars fanedit in my collection that doesn’t have subtitles; it would be greatly appreciated if you could please PM those over! Thank you!
