i figured i would put this in off topic because its more less a flame on his review for Revenge of the Sith...

im sure you can read it for yourself and realize how much of an ass kisser he is...
i mean the man praises everyone in the movie for their acting... which we all know is a load of BS...
one reason why i hardly go to the digital bits anymore.... dvdtimes blows the bits out of the water.... no doubt...

anyway read it for yourself... and give your opinion...

and i just want to add... Bill Hunt is an asshat.

I don't even need to read it to know it's crap. The man's built an empire on fake DVD news "scoops" and studio ass kissing. Digital Bits has become worthless and irrelevant.

Well, the article isn't quite as asskissing as I would have expected, but I did find his one fault with the CG extremely amusing. It's almost as if he's saying that it's not the CG's fault for looking artificial. It's the real world's fault for not being able to keep up with the CG's "beauty".

Cool.

I'm guessing the A/V quality will be on the same level as AOTC. Don't really care about extras myself.

As for the movie, I saw it twice, so I know exactly what to expect from it.

I probably wasn't the only one to email Mr. Hunt about the glaring error in the Digital Bit's review, but I noticed it's been quietly corrected.
The only thing that really irks me about the site is they assigned reviews of MST3K sets to someone who totally hates the show. I kind of doubt they would let someone who hates Star Trek review Enterprise DVD's!

In all fairness, Mr. Hunt expressed the desire to see the unaltered OT released on DVD when he reviewed last year's set. If any of us got invited to the ranch, of course we're going to get our picture taken while there. Most of us would likely be thrown out soon after being caught trying to break into the film vault, but at least you can say you tried!

The opening battle sequence was boring.

General Grievous was lame.

Anakin's turn was too rapid.

Palpatine was awesome.

Satisfying because it was a conclusion. But not a satisfying conclusion. If that makes any sense.

i think this is the exact point i was trying to get across...
when people say they don't agree with Lucas not releasing the originals and then go out and buy his shitty SE's anyway you wonder why he's not releasing them...
cuz people like Hunt have no backbone....

if he really believed in what he wrote about back when he was supporting this petition and site he wouldn't have pulled such a 180 and started talking about how great it was that the trilogy was finally over... that he feels satisfied and that he's been waiting for this day....

i may not come to this forum that often or even post anymore... but i try and mention this place at least once a week on other forums... chat rooms... online games even as a signature at the bottom of all my emails...
