HEY, IF THE CHIEFS HADN'T HAD THE TURNOVERS IN THE SECOND HALF LAST WEEK AGAINST THE eagles THEY WOULD HAVE BEATEN THE dirty birds. THE eagles PLAYED AWFUL IN THAT GAME AS WELL. Sometimes I wonder if maybe Warbler is just putting on a show for us.

I will give Warbler this, though. I've known many bandwagon jumpers (people that root for whoever happens to be winning at the time), at least he has the convictions to stick with the Eagles despite their mistakes.
Me...I follow sports and enjoy sports, but for the most part I do not invest myself so emotionally in it. The last time I remember verbally exclaiming joy over sports was during the 2003 NBA lottery for the draft. The moment that Memphis/Detroit (Detroit got the pick conditionally in a trade) was named #2, I knew the Cleveland Cavaliers had gotten Pick #1 and hence, Lebron James.

Sorry Dayv, but we Philadephia Eagle fans are passionate about our team. We live and die with out team. Losing to the Cowboys hurts. And what hurts worse is how pathetic they looked out there. They just caved in and gave the game to Dallas. No heart, nor fire was in them. Fans do have an emotional investment in the team. You wouldn't tell a Redsoxs fan to feel nothing after losing a baseball game to the Yankees would you ? Now, no one should kill themselves or break anything, but I think I got little right to be upset at my teams horrible performance. My response is tame compared to the calls I've heard on WIP, our sports talk radio station. By the way Dayv I am not angry at you or any one else here. And yes I have been exagerating my anger for fun. BTW, Dayv you've got every right to post and post and rub it in. I would expect no less. And all of my rubbing in should be taken in good fun. No offense is meant by any of it.

It was so nice to see UT f*cksmash OU. The Dallas game was a great watch too. Other than that sorry loss against the Redskins, I think they're bound for good things this year. And the Stars are playing again!!!

I hear where you're coming from Warbler. A loss is a loss, but the Eagles almost looked like they let it happen. Po' Donavan McGroin. I think if he had been in top shape, it would have been a MUCH closer game. But Dallas would still have won.

Is Jersey big enough to warrant being divided up into north and south? I can understand California, but Jersey is a speck by comparison.

And I only meant "New Jersey teams" not in terms of loyalties but because the Giants and the Jets physically play home games in the state of New Jersey.

Oh, and I will be at the Bears/Viqueens game on Sunday. Wish Da Bears some luck. They need it.
