It was such a really good film. Heartwrenching in ways and a lot to contemplate in other ways. It’s very beautifully shot and told. It’s definitely a film that I feel will get better and better with further contemplation and rewatches. I love how it dealt with memory and how relationships between family and the ones we love aren’t always black and white. As well as the difficulties we put on those closest to us. And of course the little boy was so delightful. It was so unexpected to hear subtle Star Wars references in the film. Haha
Fun Fact: It was Kurt Cobain’s favourite film.
