Yeah, the only thing to do with a Toshiba is to buy a mod-chip. My advice to you is to take advantage of the rediculously low prices you will find on cheap DVD Players around Thanksgiving. I pick up a new player every Thanksgiving and just keep it in the box in case anyone ever wants it. I just gave my brother a $20 DVD Player from Best Buy that could easily be hacked to multi-region, could play MP3s, WMA and JPEGs and was Progressive Scan. Keep a look out and check VideoHelp for advice on buying.
