The editing continues. Learning what many editors before me have learned. Sometimes a segment can be so frustrating but then an easy fix appears or some things that seem okay are glaringly bad a day later. Scenes that get removed suddenly work better or are required for pacing or transition. One idea I had was to have Nute and Rune land after the queen has escaped and he say his line, “ah, victory” as the droid informs him the queen has escaped. Aside from getting a good battle droid voice, the timing doesn’t feel right for the joke to work. Likely abandoning but wanted to show the concept (with no battle droid line).
