I´ve watched the PAL versions and they´ve got oversaturated colors and are too dark. I had to fiddle with my picture setting for a while before getting something I was happy with. By then I had upped the brightness too much and put the color levels way to low for any of my other movies to look normal. I basicly had set my picture settings to a "universal" template and I made those setting based on some of the best refrence quality DVD releases available. Those 2004 Star Wars DVD´s are just badly calibrated IMO. Everything is just too darn colorful and the darkness is overwhelming. What a rushjob. And all this to make the OT look more like the PT.
