So what did you think of Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, if you hated the show.

Never seen it. I never watched Batman Beyond beyond Season 1.

And JFTR, I didn’t say I hated Batman Beyond; I liked the show when I watched it. But in retrospect, I don’t like what they did with Bruce. A crusty old man, alienated from everyone, alone in his empty mansion. I hate it.

Cobra Kai (1st season)

Really enjoyed it on a daft and fun level, and a little bit more too. The writing and characters were quite sharp and witty, and seems the showrunners have a genuine love and affection for the original films.

Looking forward to the 2nd season.

Resident Alien.

3 episodes in and loving it - fun, witty and engaging. Alan Tudyk steals the show - other than that pesky kid…

I just finished season two of this series. I couldn’t recommend it more. It’s so cute, fun, and relatable. It’s like Back to the Future meets Sex and the City with bits of Frasier.

“Heroes come in all sizes, and you don’t have to be a giant hero. You can be a very small hero. It’s just as important to understand that accepting self-responsibility for the things you do, having good manners, caring about other people - these are heroic acts. Everybody has the choice of being a hero or not being a hero every day of their lives.” - George Lucas

I’m currently catching up on Lucifer, currently on season 5. Pretty good series overall, but it does suffer from CW level forced character drama.

I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.

Star Wars has 3 eras: The eras are 1977-1983(pre Expanded Universe), (1983-2014) expanded universe, or (2014- now) Disney-bought version. Each are valid.

I highly recommend it. It’s very funny and realistic at the same time. The cast truly feels like an actual family. I think it’s been one of the best overlooked sitcoms in the last ten years.

All around it’s a pretty cool show. It does try a little too hard to be edgy and hip but overall it’s a really unique take on Harley Quinn.

Rewatched Spaced again and it still amazes me how good this series is. 10/10 Masterpiece.

Recently finished watching Glitch Techs for the sixth time, and by God it’s still really enjoyable. There’s some minor things that bug me or tick me off, and there is one not-so-good episode that I always skip (alongside two others - those aren’t really bad, but there’s something that’s triggered some PTSD within me, though not actual PTSD), but overall it’s still really enjoyable.

You should give it a watch on Netflix if you’re really into sci-fi or animation!

Superb show - I’m still waiting (in vain) for that third season 😉

Switched at Birtb.

It’s been such a compelling and interesting series. It’s very groundbreaking in that it tells the story of two girls who were switched at birth. One is hearing and one is deaf. There’s one episode that’s entirely told through sign language and subtitles. It really explores class and social issues in a very grounded way. The characters are all so well written. It never feels like one of the two girls is getting more attention than the other as they balance it out very well. I highly recommend it.

Did I mention that Lorraine McFly aka Lea Thompson is one of the main characters?

Just watched the first episode of new BBC thriller Vigil, absolutely gripping. Do yourself a favour and watch it! If you live anywhere outside of the UK you’ll have to get a VPN I believe.

So far it’s been a really good show. I’m really enjoying these ABC Family/Freeform series. They remind me a little of Channel 4 series. This one has a very interesting group of girls who all come from different social backgrounds. It’s interesting to see how their dynamics are growing and evolving as the storylines get deeper away and connected to their shared sport of gymnastics. Sometimes they even mix together. It’s also had a great soundtrack. I’m discovering some great new music through the series.

I also love having Peri Gilpin as the mother of one of the girls. I always loved her as Roz Doyle on Frasier. She was always overshadowed I feel in just how essential she is that show’s success. She really commands a presence and this series is no exception to proving what a talented actress she is.

I watched the first half of the Lost in Space remake. I like it so far. Only the first season was available for us non Netflix people.

I finished the series Arcane the other day. It’s a spinoff from League of Legends, which I’ve never played, and that’s probably best for watching the show to be honest. It might not be for everyone here but the animation, writing, wacky world design are all top notch. It’s one of the best fantasy series I’ve ever seen.

I’ve been watching a lot of Scott the Woz recently.

I’m not really that much of a movie purist. I really should’ve thought my name out a bit more.

Watched some original Lost in Space. Wow the budget must have been 12 cents. They were on some hell/prison planet breaking rocks. It aired on MeTV.

Just made it through Season 7 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia! Overall, it’s not as memorable as seasons 3, 4, and 5, but it’s good enough. I have high excitement for future seasons (Especially since I’ve heard good things about one particular episode), and I hope to see what messed up shenanigans the gang will go through next!

I have altered Lucas’ visions. Pray I don’t alter them any further.

Been enjoying Moonknight a lot so far. Oscar Isaac is doing as great job playing multiple personalities at once, and Ethan Hawke is great, as always.

Having never read the comics, I originally thought that Steven Grant was the person he was born as and Marc Spector was the alternate personality he created to escape his “loser” life. Glad the show proved me wrong, cause what they did instead was much better.

My new theory going into the finale now is that Khonshu somehow caused the rainstorm that led to Marc’s brother drowning, cause he knew that would eventually lead to Marc finding his tomb. I think he also did something similar to Ethan Hawke’s character at some point in the past, and that’s why Ethan Hawke hates him so much.

Currently watching Batman: The Animated Series on DVD. Some episodes I’ve already seen, others I’m seeing for the first time. It’s an incredible show.
