While I agree that some illnesses are caused by emotional imbalances, I don't think it's wise to abandon modern medicine and go all the way to alternative. Perhaps doing stuff like chinese acunputure could be good, while keeping the normal treatment. Also, threapy might also help - that's something I'd recomend to everyone, regardless of how you feel right now.

I believe anxiety and depression can cause a lot of wierd symptoms, which my doc is starting to persue right now. I also have a known thyroid problem. Believe it or not, thyroid issues can cause a host of problems, including memory problems, tremors, visual disturbances, and even Parkinson's type symptoms.

I have not, but I have an old record player somewhere around here. It broke after we used it like once or twice.

I have seen an original gramophone with that "shell" thing instead of an electric amplifier, running those fast rotation discs (70rpm? I don't remember, but I now it's way faster than the regular 33rpm), playing a record from the 30s or something. My dad owns a lot of old records, some of them from the late 40s (all in the "standart" vinyl 33rpm format). While we don't have a record player any longer, my grandmother does, and when I'm at her house I try it out. Those LP players are still being manufactured and sold at some places. I've seen one that is in the shape of an old 1930s radio, but with a CD - MP3 player built in, two tape decks, radio, and... on the top, the long play player.

Ah yes.

Best. Week. Ever. = possibly the Worst. Show. Ever.

But seriously, what's even more disturbing is that people even watch it. If the morons who drink this stuff up would just turn their TVs off and to something usefull like mow the yard or make a cheeseburger, then ratings on the garbage would fall and it would get mercifully cancelled.





And probably replaced by something even worse....
