I agree. If feasible I’ll remove Paul’s obstinance.
While I agree in principle about the scene with Leto, this is the only real bonding moment between father and son, albeit not from the book. Perhaps it will work to remove Paul’s doubt here but still have Leto give the fatherly pep talk. I’ll take a look.
In the book Paul says he’s a freak but not like a baby for sure. I want to keep the scene with his mom somewhat intact but I’ll try and reduce all his whining about being used. I’m on the fence about him yelling at her bc this is the movie’s lackluster replacement of in the book Paul informing her she’s a Harkonnen.
