As we all know from the documentary Room 237, SK didn’t like to spoon-feed his messages to us. He put the final piece of this hint — that is pre-Shining — only in the German version so that people wouldn’t pick up on it immediately; they’d have to sleuth it out as they did with The Shining. This image shows you what he did…
He left the needed bits out of the English credits so that only those who noticed the curious discrepancy could get the pieces and see what’s ultimately rather plainly obvious in regards to the message.
So, yes, as with The Shining where good sleuthing of its hints makes it clear the moon landings were faked, he also gave us the same message via the German version of ACO a full decade earlier (though not figured out until now). Hope that clears this up for you, TheHutt, and everyone else.
(For anyone not sure, this post is just some for-laughs silliness I came up with, is NOT indicative of any real thoughts/beliefs on this matter 😃)
