I think the Qui Gon stuff is pretty necessary in a edit, at least for me. In the original Yoda’s line at the end feels so written in at the last minute to explain a plot hole and the extra dialogue at least gives it a bit more justification. That being said if you want to trim things the first thing I would take out would be Yoda arriving on Dagobah, I think the ending is paced better without it and it feels unnecessary to focus on. I’ll try to watch through the edit in the next couple days to see if any thing else feels unnecessary as I don’t think cutting the second seeds of rebellion scene should be the first thing to go.
