The reason they announce these projects so early is specifically to drum up fan hype (and to make the brand look appealing to shareholders).
I’m sure that’s backfiring right now! It does seem a bit of a mess. I will say though, the TV shows that have been announced seem much safer than the movies - Rangers is perhaps the exception because Carano got fired, but it wasn’t due to creative issues like some other troubled productions.
The video I linked to probably sounded angrier in the title than what was actually expressed in the video, which was only mild frustration at the uncertainty of the new shows and movies.
Eckhartsladder is usually a bit like that I find. Often quite clickbaity titles, but in the video itself he’s really chilled out. I’m used to that now and love his content.
