Somehow, I doubt that, Dayv. Both Doom and Halo are absurdly popluar games, and I'm sure they would make something at the BO.

Whether it will be enough to cover there undoubtedly lavish budgets, I have no idea, though.

As a fan of the series and the extended lore, I have high hopes for this one.

I mean, sticking Jackson's name on something is no guarantee of good - they still have to announce the director.

But I remain optimistic, as Bungie will stay heavily involved throughout the process.

The fabled 1st FPS sequence in Doom reportedly had "fanboys ejaculating in their briefs," but I felt like...puking. All over the movie.

Well, I will base whether I see Doom on what the reviews say; in a Videogame film it could really go either way.

Halo, on the other hand, sounds like it could make a great film.
