DVR's are the diggity I've had one now since June 1999 and I really don't ever see NOT having one - MAN, I'm broke BUT I'd donate blood to pay for the TiVo service!

Rik: Have you heard about some people reporting that on their TiVo units they've noticed shows that have been "flagged" for deletion by the system after a certain amount of time? I believe the official line from the company was that they were testing this technology but have no intentions of deploying it. Pretty much the people who were targeted believe that it's the first steps in copyright holders protecting themselves by not allowing someone to retain copies for an extended period of time.
