You don't know what a pizza stone is? Big round stone platter that you use to cook pizza in an oven. Keeps the crust crispier. Can also be used to bake just about anything you want like cookies and whatnot.

Probably true. But if things got too heated I would probably back down in case Chaltab or sage (or both) was executing their 'God given right' to bear arms

Exactly. Soon after that I was able to find one, and did 2 pizzas with it. The first one was not so good, the second one was OK, but I belive the pizza stone did little to nothing in contributing to the pizza flavor.

Since this pizza stone discussion originated in a totally unrelated thread, I mention it whenever we are getting away from the topic, or as a random "subject", hence, my little running gag.

The deal with the stones is you've got to give them time. The whole idea is that they become "seasoned" after extended use, and the pizzas get better as time goes by. Just remember (and this was another thing that drove you up a wall, if I remember) don't clean them with soap!

Pizza stones aside, I am still curious about the world's longest bridge. Nobody seems to be able to give me a satisfactory answer.

i've been thinking about the possiblity of moving to chicago. I've even done cost of living comparison with detroit. It appears that chicago is actually 2.4% cheaper to live in than detroit. who'd a thunk?

I seem to remember that actually defining the world's longest bridge was diffficult because of all the differnt categories of bridges, or something. Just do a google search for world's longest bridge - there is no clear answer.
