No, that's not correct. Kirstin Dunst was being interviewed and she slipped letting people know that the villains were going to be played by Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace and listed the names Venom and Sandman in that order to correspond to the stars. However, she then admitted she probably should not have let that leak and tried to cover up by saying that maybe Church will play Sandman and Grace will play Venom.

Hold up a minute. I don't want to go off topic here, but didn't Kevin Smith say he was not making any more Jersey movies, and now we get Clerks 2 and a new J&SB?
Hayden Church is the guy from Sideways right? That could work. He's a fairly bulky guy, and Venom was always bigger than Eddie Brock, and I've no doubt that Venom himself will be purely CGI.
It's not a new J&SB film. They just made appearances in the most recent season of the new DeGrassi series. And I think Kev directed some of them.
As for no new Jersey flicks, he lied. He had the urge and is doing it. From what I've read, most of the originals are returning and he also got Rosario Dawson in it. However, he is no longer involved in the Fletch project which upsets me.

I'm not too sure about Clerks 2. It's one of those right time right place cult following movies and I'm not sure if a polished, non b&w sequel will be anything but a pale imitation. We'll see though, and I like Kevin Smith so I'll definitely give it a chance.

I read on IGN.com that Kirsten Dunst slipped up in an interview, and basically revealed that Venom and Sandman would be in it. I originally thought that they've been hinting at the Hobgoblin ever since the first one, but I would like to see Venom. I'm not so sure about Sandman, though...

They've been hinting at a lot of potential other villains. If you recall the Russian (?) girl that lived in Peter's apartment building in 2, I think her introduction may be a hint at Black Cat whom we all know is an antihero of sorts. Not a good guy, but not really a bad guy. More of a romantic foil for Peter and MJ. And we all clearly saw that this girl had a thing for Pete.
Degrassi Junior High is a cult classic teen melodrama out of Canada. Kinda like 90210 but with greater longevity and not quite as poorly acted. It's gone through three or four different iterations since it started in the 80s. It can be watched in the U.S. and maybe some other countries as well, just not sure what net carries it.
At first, I was really looking forward to Fletch Won with Jason Lee until the possibility was raised of having it done with Ryan Reynolds. I was completely gung ho about that one. But then RR said he was a bit too afraid to try to live up to those expectations. This was despite the fact that the author of the Fletch novels, Gregory McDonald, really wanted him as well. The most recently mentioned name has been Zach Braff ("Scrubs"). As much as I like Zach, I think Jason would be the better choice of the two. But I'm still hoping against hope that Ryan will change his mind.

Some news over at Newsarama regarding the villain situation. It looks like, if this is to be believed, via process of elimination, that Grace will indeed be Venom, as scary as that sounds.
Look at the size of his left forearm compared to his right!! He needs to invest in a second dumbell. Apart from that though, I think he looks cool, and I also think he would have made a good Eddie Brock.
I don't understand the Spider-Man movies. They set up several villians (Lizard, Man-Wolf, Harry Osboune's Green Goblin) only to bring out a completely different set of villians for the next movie. Wonder if they will be in Spiderman4, then.
