Anything from Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band foward. I'm more into the psychedelia, studio driven beatles than the beatlemania frenzy rock n roll. My favorite songs are:

* Hey Jude
* Strawberry Fields Forever
* A Day in Life
* All you Need is Love
* Here Comes the Sun
* I am the Walrus
* Magical Mystery Tour
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Penny Lane is my favorite. I have a whole bunch of others that I like too, but it would take too long for me to pull all of them out from a list.

Revolver is my favorite album, so anything from that is sure to be a winner.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Oh, and how could I forget one of my favorites... Revolution #9!

A few friends and I are going to attempt to perform "Let It Be" at an upcoming talent show, in honor of a teacher who passed away a few weeks ago.

anything from Yellow Submarine is good to me.

Man, that's a tough question. I definitely like the latter Beatles stuff better, but the early-later stuff was good too, if that makes sense. I'm talking Rubber Soul/revolver era. At a push my favourites (both lyrically and melodically) are:

In My Life
Come Together
Get Back
Revolution (all versions)
Happiness Is A Warm Gun
Helter Skelter
Here, There, Everywhere
Tomorrow Never Knows (Great Drumbeat)
Let It Be
The Ballad of John and Yoko

I also have a soft spot for Free As A bird. It almost makes me cry hearing John Lennon's crackly home recorded voice from beyond the grave.

And the worst?

Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da or anything by Ringo - Don't pass me by - what was that? Almost killed the White Album with that one.

I'm a Lennon man myself, although there are a good few McCartney tracks in my list. I saw McCartney live recently and there is just something distinctly uncool about him. I've heard good things about his new album though.

I actually like Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da. Any of those "old people" type songs that Paul did make it on my list. I love "When I'm Sixy-Four" and "Honey Pie".

"When I'm Sixty-Four" is good too.

The only Beatles song I really love is "Yesterday." "Something" was pretty good as well.

So Nanner, if you're a musician how come you didn't speak up in the Long Bridge Club when I was inquiring if there were any fellow musicians out there?

BTW, I am moving to California (L.A) Early next year and I will be looking to start a band, so if anyone is up for it, let me know.

The White Album followed by Sgt. Peppers. I like their weird stuff.

A few of my favourites include 'Happiness is a Warm Gun', 'Fixing a Hole', 'Blackbird', and 'A Day in the Life'.

I like the part sung by Paul on that song. Something like, "woke up, got out of bed..."

Yeah, I love that part too. In fact, "A Day in the Life" just kicks ass period!

And I also love "The Long and Winding Road."

And just to be picky, it's, "Woke up, fell out of bed." ^_^

Oh yeah, and 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds' is also one of my faves.

'With A Little Help From My Friends' sounds awesome coming out of Joe Cocker's mouth. I didn't really like the original, though...seems passionless.

I used to prefer that version as well and dislike the original, but now it's grown on me a lot, and I like both versions.
