I played around with this a bit. I’m not very skilled so it’s just a rough edit. It’s just some cutting and splicing for my own enjoyment. Nothing polished for others to see. Moving scenes around. Just sharing my ideas for anyone more skilled to take a stab at. I took about 20 minutes of Halloween 2 and added it to the original. Some of Loomis and the sheriff. Laurie going to the hospital. Michael stealing the knife from the old couple and killing the teen girl. And the finding of the other bodies. Then after that I added in the flashback from Kills so the original ends with Michael being caught. Then I moved a couple of scenes in Kills into the timeline of 18. Tommy Doyle at the bar scene cuts to the dance. Just to tie the timelines together. The end is a 2 hour version of the original and a 3 hour version of the two recent movies. So they operate as one movie about the first attack and the second movie is about the second attack. I’ve heard Ends is set years later (present day, not 2018) so it will most likely work as a final night of attacks. So in theory, it will be one movie for each of the three Halloween nights. Just playing around with it for now as I’ll have to wait and see what Ends adds to the story.
