The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1986 Anime Series), 1080p HD AI Upscaled Versions on BD-50 ISOs (cancelled)

I am planning on making 1080p HD AI upscalings of both the English and Japanese versions of the 1986 anime series, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The standard-definition Blu-ray sources will be upscaled with Topaz Labs’ Topaz Video Enhance AI. The upscaled versions will be on BD-50 ISO files with custom menus and Oz-related and Dark Side of the Moon audio clips as background music on the menus, and uploaded to my Resilio profile. The upload will include folders with custom artwork I’ll make for the discs and case.
After I make enough money on my future job (if I ever get one after the pandemic is over), I will buy my own house and the things I need for it and move out of my family’s house and into my house. After that, I will get a 4K UHD TV, a 4K UHD gaming laptop, a “UHD-friendly” BD-RW drive, some 4K Blu-rays, and a pack of 100GB BD-R discs, so I can make a 4K UHD AI upscaled version.

NOTE: I recently ordered both Blu-ray sets of the series from Amazon for a very cheap price (since I used my Amazon Rewards card to get a discount). Amazon currently says the Japanese version should be arriving on February 23rd and the English version on February 24th, but that’s because the orders haven’t shipped yet.

BTW, I recently received the English dub version Blu-ray in the mail today. I’ll wait until the Japanese version Blu-ray arrives to rip and upscale the episodes.

JEDIT: A few days ago, I received the 2-disc DVD set of the 4 movie edits of the anime. I will upscale the movie edits as well.

OK, apparently the Japanese version Blu-ray by Discotek was taking too long to be shipped, so I had to cancel that order several days ago. I’ll order it in March after I pay for a 2-year membership at HiRes Covers (since I’m only allowed to pay up to a maximum of $50 or more a month with my mom’s permission - and yes, I still live with my family).

NOTE: This project is on hiatus for now. I’ve decided to make another Oz preservation.

OK, I’ve decided to revive this project. I recently purchased the English subtitled Discotek Blu-ray to revive the project, so it’s a WIP again.

JEDIT: Last time I checked today, Amazon said the Blu-ray is out for delivery today and will be arriving at 8:00 PM, so it will probably be here before that time.

OK. I now have both Blu-rays as well as the 2-disc DVD set. I will upscale them as soon as I get a new external Blu-ray drive, since my current one isn’t recognized by my laptop anymore.

OK, I’ve decided to put this project away for a while again. It will probably take me too long to split both of the series MKV files perfectly into the episodes, deinterlace the episodes and movie edits, and upscale every episode and movie edit to 1080p HD. I was also planning on making custom 5.1 LPCM upmixes (since I don’t have a DTS-HD Master Audio codec) for both the English and Japanese versions of the series, along with the 2.0 stereo Dolby Digital tracks.

I have decided to cancel this project and instead make a fan edit of the English episodes and movie edits using remastered footage from the Japanese episodes from the Japanese complete series Blu-ray by Discotek (except the intros, which will be taken from the English episodes and movie edits), based on stuffandthings’ fan edits of the movie edits and first two English episodes. I will also include the original Japanese episodes. The movie edits and episodes will all be upscaled to HD.
