Yes, I know that you can hack or use a region free player (I have three) but out of all my friends and family only 2 have players that can play my non-region 1 DVD's (bought from eBay and online) and everyone I know wants to borrow my DVD all the time for the color scene and extra blood
(I won't copy the DVD outright or strip the region code) SO, I just ripped the DVD to a 4.2 gig AVI then converted it a 2nd Pass 16x9 MPEG2 (via wizard settings) - the menus have been change as not to confuse it with an official release and the video/audio have been re-encoded (with forced subtitles) and are intentionally not as sharp as the retail DVD as not to replace buying the import DVD.Word to the Spookies...
