I just checked it out and it looks like the issues have been fixed! The new colors are now consistent - there’s no seam when the clips kick in. I’m so happy to see my Shamook’s work finally realized and implemented, last time the wind on my sails was cut short since just as I was ‘done’ Shamook shared the source quality files and I realized I would have to do the whole thing again. But I’m happy we could get such a high quality source that really feels seamless across the board. Everything just worked out great, and I’m really happy it’s all done.

Ha! I know I’ve been a bit of a stickler with this, and I was worried while downloading that there’d be an issue again, that’s why I’m so happy that it’s finally done and everything’s top notch 😃

Just caught up with this. It was already a favourite of mine and the editing and integration of Shamook’s work has really raised the bar.

I just saw the edit. Before I watched I was concerned that the removed portions of the movie would be problematic. Instead, I liked it better. The portions you removed were either redundant or unnecessary and helped keep the action flowing much more smoothly.

Job well done. It was also nice to see Tarkin and Leia look more real with the deepfakes.

Just forwarding the news you put onto the Episode X thread. I think of all Star Wars movies going forward will have a crawl it may be worth putting one onto this movie.

Not a bad rough draft. I’d be wary of placing the 6 years time frame in the crawl, because most of the movie takes place 19 years after ROTS. We shouldn’t want that smaller figure to stick with the audience. I’d get rid of the mention of timing entirely.

The second paragraph I have no complaints about except the grammar. Should be “Fearing for the safety of his family…” Scientist should be lowercase. The word “small” might also be redundant.

IDK why but it feels weird having Krennics full name there haha. I’d also avoid name dropping the Death Star. Deserves to be spelled out first in ANH. I think I’d completely rework the final paragraph. Especially since I don’t think he’d be “sent” to do anything, he’d see this as a personal matter.
