I checked out v2.0 of Dark Force Rising. Trimming the Obi-Wan/Anakin bickering is a big improvement, and the removal of the clones on Yavin is totally seamless & makes things move along quicker.

I do miss the opening Yoda narration, and the beautiful animation that accompanies it, showing all the different Jedi Knights battling accross the galaxy, it serves as the perfect introduction to the titular Clone Wars. Without it the show starts on a boring shot of Palpatine’s office… it’s a major downgrade in my opinion. In this case I’d prefer higher quality over consistency, keeping the original intro instead of the blue text, the episode is very different in style and tone so it stands on it’s own anyway. The episode also ends with Yoda narration so it makes more sense to begin that way too.
